Indoor Winter Training for Juniors

We have an indoor training program with the goal to maintain fitness and improve technique while the snow flies and there is ice on the lake. Work is primarily done on ergometers with weight sessions and core strength to supplement training. The core work will be focused on the complimentary goals of reduced injuries, better power transmission and improved posture. We will train three days a week from 2 Dec to 28 Feb on days when school is in session. Come join us!

This program is run primarily on the balcony of the commons at LOLHS. This is an Old Lyme Rowing Association program which is run at the high school. All high school students in the area are welcome, it is not limited to LOLHS students. The program will be capped at 22 participants but this has not recently been a problem.
